I know exactly how you feel, sweet girl :)
Brotherly love!
Meeting Auntie Jess for the first time!
Lexie has been a wonderful addition to our family. She is a very good, even tempered baby. She is the perfect 2nd child, not too needy, not fussy when she isn't being held & patient, since she doesn't get my undivided attention like Troy did. She only fusses when she is hungry, has a dirty diaper, or needs to be wrapped up tight so she can go to sleep. Even her little upset times are very minimal, maybe they just don't faze me as much since she's my 2nd, but she is truly a joy. She sleeps for good stretches in the night, we don't get to bed until 11 or 12, but then she only wakes once before 7 or later. I can't ask for better than that at 1 month!! I know this is a common statement after kids, but I can't remember what life was like without her. Her time here has been a whirlwind so far, between getting back to feeling like myself again & adjusting to 2 kids & less sleep, but it's amazing how your concept of love can grow so quickly & easily. We had a little nervous time when at her 2 week check-up the doctor heard a heart murmur & referred her to a pediatric cardiologist. After things working out to get her in to see the specialist within 2 weeks, through the amazing technology we were able to see that she indeed did have a hole in between 2 chambers of her heart, but that it wasn't a problem & shouldn't needed anything done other than to watch it. I know our family has been greatly blessed, you never like hearing anything is less than perfect with your children, but I'm very grateful that she will be fine. We love our little girl and the joy she's brought to our family!
